At WishMatez, families trust us with their parents. We know that means trusting us with personal details too. This policy explains, in simple words, what information we collect, why we need it, who sees it and how you can control it.

1. Who We Are
WishMatez provides companion services for senior citizens in Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali. In this policy, “we,” “us” and “our” mean WishMatez.

2. Whose Information We Handle
- Families: the son, daughter or relative who books and pays for the service
- Senior citizens: the parents or elders who receive our visits
- Companions and job applicants: people who work with us or apply to
- Website and app visitors: anyone who browses our website or uses our app
3. What We Collect
From families:
- Name, phone number, email and city or country
- Booking details: services chosen, dates, times and addresses
- Messages, feedback and ratings you share with us
- Payment status (we don’t store your card or bank details, see Section 8)
About senior citizens:
- Name, age, address and an emergency contact
- Language, routine, hobbies and companion preferences, to find the right match
- Health notes needed for a safe visit, such as walking support needs, allergies or medicine reminder times
- BP and pulse readings taken during walks
- Photos of prescriptions and test reports, when we share them with the family after a hospital visit
- Short visit notes and, with consent, photos taken during visits
From companions and applicants:
- Name, contact details, photo, education and work history
- ID documents such as Aadhaar and PAN
- Police verification and reference check results
- Training records and visit history
From website and app visitors:
- Basic device and usage information, such as pages visited and browser type
- Location, only if you choose to allow it in the app to fill in your address
4. Health Information
Some of what we collect is sensitive, especially health details about senior citizens. We treat it with extra care:
- We collect only the health details a companion needs to keep your parent safe and comfortable.
- We don’t collect full medical histories, and we don’t make medical decisions.
- Prescription and report photos are shared only with the family members you name.
- Counselling sessions (if offered): what a senior shares with a counsellor stays private. Families get updates only with the senior’s consent, unless there is a serious risk to their safety.
5. Consent of Senior Citizens
Our service is often booked by a family member, but the visits are for the senior. So we:
- Explain the service to the senior and take their consent before regular visits begin
- Respect a senior’s wish to keep certain things private from family, unless their safety is at risk
- Accept consent from a lawful guardian where a senior is unable to give consent themselves, for example due to advanced dementia
6. Why We Use Your Information
- To arrange visits and match the right companion
- To send visit updates, photos and reports to the family
- To manage passes, payments, invoices and rollover visits
- To verify, train and manage our companions
- To keep a record of each visit for safety and to resolve complaints
- To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements
- To improve our services, using general patterns rather than personal profiles
We don’t use your information for advertising, and we don’t sell or rent it to anyone.
7. Who Can See Your Information
- Your assigned companion: only what the visit needs, such as the address, the contact person and relevant care notes
- Our team: only staff who need it to manage bookings, support and quality
- Service partners: trusted providers who help us run the business, like our payment partner, cloud hosting and WhatsApp messaging. They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
